6 finalists. 1 winner. The first-ever Fort Worth Comedy Competition champion crowned tonight.

This is what 9 weeks has been building toward.

Six finalists. Ten-minute sets. The Panther Room. One winner walks away with $2,500 cash, a multi-city headlining tour booked through The Looney Bin's Mason, a professionally produced 30-minute special filmed at Big Laugh, and a meeting with a working industry agent.

Five judges score on the published rubric. The audience casts the final ballot live. Results revealed on stage.

After tonight, the first-ever Fort Worth Comedy Competition will have its champion. The history of Fort Worth comedy will be different. Be in the room when it happens.

About the Competition

The Fort Worth Comedy Competition is the first-ever city-wide stand-up competition for Fort Worth comics. Hosted by Big Laugh Comedy Club, September 3 through November 7, 2026.

- There are no refunds 

- This event is 18 and up, valid ID required

- If you don't show up 20 MINUTES after the scheduled show time, you will forfeit your tickets

- No heckling or videos during the show, if you can't play nicely you will be asked to leave 

- There is absolutely NO VIDEO RECORDING whatsoever 

- No backpacks or other large bags allowed in venue

- No animals allowed in venue
