The field has been narrowed. Tonight, 6 of the 12 remaining comics step into the semifinals.

Each performs a 7-minute set, scored by three judges on the published rubric with audience ranked ballots weighing into the result. The top 3 advance to finals at the Panther Room on November 7.

Stakes are higher. Sets are longer. The comics who've survived prelims are the strongest in Fort Worth's competitive comedy field. This is what it looks like when local comedy bares its teeth.

About the Competition

The Fort Worth Comedy Competition is the first-ever city-wide stand-up competition for Fort Worth comics. Hosted by Big Laugh Comedy Club, September 3 through November 7, 2026. The winner receives $2,500 cash, a multi-city headlining tour with Mason from The Looney Bin on the booking side, a headlining weekend at Big Laugh filmed as a 30-minute special, and an industry agent meeting.

- If you don't show up 20 MINUTES after the scheduled show time, you will forfeit your tickets

- No heckling or videos during the show, if you can't play nicely you will be asked to leave 

- There is absolutely NO VIDEO RECORDING whatsoever 

- No backpacks or other large bags allowed in venue
