The First-Ever Stand-Up Comedy Competition for Fort Worth Comics

Fort Worth has been a comedy city for decades. It's never had a competition of its own. Until now.

This fall, Big Laugh Comedy Club presents the first-ever Fort Worth Comedy Competition. 60 Fort Worth comics. 9 shows. 1 winner walks away with a career-launching prize package.

The Prize Package

• $2,500 cash to the winner ($1,000 second, $500 third)

• Multi-city headlining tour with The Looney Bin's Mason on the booking side

• A headlining weekend at Big Laugh filmed as a professionally produced 30-minute special

• A meeting with a working industry agent

Total package value exceeds $10,000.

The Format

• 6 preliminary shows (60 comics, 10 per show) - top 2 from each show advance

• 2 semifinal shows (12 comics, 6 per show) - top 3 from each show advance

• Finals (6 finalists) - 1 winner takes the grand prize
